We Are Meant to Dance, Part 3

DSCF0571

While listening to our favorite music, or while dancing, it is easy to tune into that place of enjoyment within ourselves. Now, for those who are interested in magnifying those pleasant, uplifting sensations, it is a matter–as mentioned in my last post–of “recognizing consciously” what is activating us to move/dance in resonance with what we are listening to.

“Recognizing consciously” means, in the way I use it here, is getting to that “Aha! There it is!” with the Bliss Resonance that is activating our desire to move and groove with the music we listen to.

It is a kind of “capturing” the bubble of bliss that is viscerally felt in the body, usually most strongly in the spine. It is a sensation that contorts the spine, arching it backwards. The body, when we surrender to the sensation, knows how to luxuriate in the vibration.

The eyes then naturally go upwards, as though following the sensation up the spine to the area above the crown.

It is fairly easy to feel the activating Bliss Resonance in the body when listening to music, or when doing any creative activity. The main and subtle point that I believe is most significant here is in getting to that “aha!” moment when you intuitively understand how to grab hold of the very fine sensation that moves like a bubble in the spine…and you know that you are intimately connected with a sensation/vibration/energy that expands in waves of bliss the deeper you allow yourself to feel and luxuriate in its resonance.
