Notice the workings of the mind, how it seeks engagement with “objects” of attention, how it moves from point to point, thought to thought, feeling to feeling, etc. By the sheer act of noticing and observing, we get a glimpse of thoughts, feelings, etc. as they arise in the moment…and the whole purpose and benefit of this is to have an experience of the underlying “Hum,” the background resonance of the overall vibration of all that is experienced in the moment.
Notice how the mind, when not intentionally and actively engaged on anything in particular will float haplessly from thought to thought, feeling to feeling, etc. and is easily caught in the thralldom of restlessness, agitation, boredom, desires.
Mind/body/psyche is easily affected and influenced by the vibratory environment it finds itself in, whether by choice or happenstance. It is important to notice and acknowledge the subtle shifts of mind…especially between mind that consciously observes and mind that floats haplessly. In this way, it is easier have the clarity and resolve to choose the mindful state (which grants deep calmness, focus, sense of wholeness).
Tune in quickly with the underlying sensations that are easily felt as an overall resonance of feelings…like listening for the background noise or hum deep within the body. There is no difficulty in doing this! It is just a matter of allowing ourselves to feel deeply!
You may then notice that when the mind is deeply in listening and feeling mode, the thoughts slow down or may even come to a still point (even if for an instant). In that moment, you may have an experience with very fine micro-movements of sensations…with the Bliss Resonance!
In that moment your relationship with life force, with your way of Being, is shifted forever!
